This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
No probs, Really like your work got a great talent im just learning maya in uni now, and we got taught very briefly how to make a 3d models look like a 2d i think im gona try an learn more about that is that the type of thing you did with your models.
Would be interested in any tips or suggestions for websites if you know maya.
I wish I could help you with Maya... never used it but would absolutely love to someday work with it. I would assume that Maya probably has a material or material plugin like what I am using in MAX. The biggest tips I have for you is to keep your geometry simple... using basic shapes just like you would if developing an actual cartoon character. ( At least do that to start to get to learn the feel for what you are looking for. ) One major tip is to keep a low color count... for instance there are only 3 shades of orange on the character... us a variable ink size... I am using 1 to 7 in the outline inking to help at the depth and feel of being handdrawn. You definitely have to let me know how things go!
