Hey,

No probs, Really like your work got a great talent im just learning maya in uni now, and we got taught very briefly how to make a 3d models look like a 2d i think im gona try an learn more about that is that the type of thing you did with your models.

Would be interested in any tips or suggestions for websites if you know maya.

I wish I could help you with Maya... never used it but would absolutely love to someday work with it. I would assume that Maya probably has a material or material plugin like what I am using in MAX. The biggest tips I have for you is to keep your geometry simple... using basic shapes just like you would if developing an actual cartoon character. ( At least do that to start to get to learn the feel for what you are looking for. ) One major tip is to keep a low color count... for instance there are only 3 shades of orange on the character... us a variable ink size... I am using 1 to 7 in the outline inking to help at the depth and feel of being handdrawn. You definitely have to let me know how things go!
